Knowledge-intensive and science-based innovations are fundamental technological, economic, and social change drivers. Current complex challenges such as health and climate urge short and midterm impact and can only be addressed through a targeted collaboration of diverse expertise. Individual academics’ contribution here is manifold and goes beyond mere research activities.
This workshop is a hands-on introduction to the emergence and forms of science-related innovations, as well as the individual role of the researchers in this process. The workshop is structured in 3 main Blocks; each includes inputs, discussions, and interactive sessions.
You will win insights into the relationship between science and innovation, learn from experiences of science-related Entrepreneurship, as well as practice with an innovation case and training sessions. At the end of the program, you will have explored your innovation skills, trained them in a transdisciplinary context, and networked with other academics and entrepreneurs.
The Workshop is aimed at PhDs and Postdocs of all disciplines; Participation is free of charge, and places are limited to 15 Participants
