PicoQuant nominated for innovation award

For the development of the MicroTime 200 STED PicoQuant is nominated for the "Innovationspreis Berlin Brandenburg"

Out of 122 applications, PicoQuant is nominated for the innovation award Berlin Brandenburg 2014 (Innovationspreis Berlin Brandenburg) for the development of the MicroTime 200 STED. This year's ten nominees were officially announced on November 11. During the award ceremony in Berlin on December 5, up to five of the nominated companies will be announced as winners.

The newly developed STED add-on is an extension for the MicroTime 200, a FLIM and FCS platform for fluorescence lifetime, fluorescence correlation, and imaging measurements. The STED add-on enables the MicroTime 200 to reach lateral resolutions below 50 nm and thus extends the capabilities of this versatile platform by a Nobel Prize winning technique.
