The Long Night of Science in Adlershof once again delighted thousands
On 6 June, large numbers of visitors came to the Technology Park
Following the spectacular drone show to mark the 25th anniversary, the 2026 Long Night of Science in Adlershof saw a return to something closer to “business as usual”. However, enthusiasm for science remains undiminished: more than 200 events attracted over 14,000 visitors across a total of 18 venues. The Science and Technology Park was once again the hotspot for the natural sciences during the ‘smartest night of the year’.
Whether it was a trip to the Moon aboard the DLR’s SpaceBuzz One, a glimpse inside the BESSY II particle accelerator, modern materials science at the BAM, or the full spectrum of university research at the HU’s institutes – these were just some of the highlights. Likewise, organisations such as IKZ, FBH, Forschungsverbund, IGAFA and bbz once again offered an extensive programme for children, teenagers and young talents.
For those who missed the Long Night of Science, or who attended but can’t get enough: our Adlershof events calendar brings together all the events in the Science and Technology Park where you can experience innovation and research first-hand throughout the year.
The next Long Night of Science is scheduled to take place on 19 June 2027.
