The JobMarket Event 2025 once again brings together people who shape the future:
→ early-career researchers exploring new career paths beyond academia and
→ companies looking for bright minds to drive innovation, growth, and transformation.
In the heart of the Adlershof Science and Technology Park, around 70 international PhD candidates and postdocs from the natural sciences will meet around 15 companies from sectors such as green energy, environmental and chemical technologies, photonics, ICT, and R&D-based consulting.
This year’s event takes place as a special edition within the “workhier!” programme – a five-month qualification series for international PhD candidates and postdocs transitioning from research into industry. These participants bring fresh perspectives, expertise, and a strong motivation to start their professional journey.
Whether you are a company searching for talent or an early-career researcher ready for the next step – the JobMarket offers space for genuine exchange, eye-level conversations, and new perspectives.
Event Agenda
- 1:00–2:00 PM – 1:1 Exchange with “workhier!” participants
In small, thematically aligned sessions, companies engage in informal and open conversations with 20 participants from the workhier! programme. There is no pressure to match – the focus is on mutual understanding, industry insights, and career paths.
- 2:00–4:30 PM – Open Networking & Company Presentations
In the second part, the event opens to all invited early-career talents. Companies present themselves with a short pitch (1 minute), host an info table, and engage in conversations with talents from science, technology, and innovation.
