Verliebt in Berlin (popular TV series) to be continued – with a new leading man

The series “Verliebt in Berlin“ has quickly become a hit in the ratings and has won not only the hearts of the viewers, but also the highly respected Deutschen Fernsehpreis 2005, the German “Emmy” - a remarkable success that, according to Hans Peter Urban, Head of Studio Berlin, can be attributed to the perfect production environment. The high technical standard provided at the studios and by the outside broadcasting vans is one aspect and the professional customer support is the other. This opinion is obviously shared by the production company Grundy TV. In addition to “Verliebt in Berlin”, the company is producing the soap “Sophie – Braut wider Willen” in two of the seven available studios. It has also erected an additional 1450 sqm. hall of lightweight construction with 12 meter high ceilings directly on the studio grounds for shooting the outdoor scenes. This represents an attractive addition to the Adlershof company and has helped make Studio Berlin the most important German producer of the telenovela genre.
