SUMMARY:International Sodium Battery Symposium
DESCRIPTION:
X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
In recent years, we have witnessed rapidly growing global interest in sodium batteries, driven by their increasing adoption in electric vehicles, power tools, and stationary energy storage systems.

It is therefore our great pleasure to invite you to Berlin for the 7th International Sodium Battery Symposium (SBS-7). Alternating biennially with our colleagues from IKTS in Dresden, the Sodium Battery Symposium has become a key meeting point for researchers and industry leaders in this field.

Building on the success of our previous meeting in Berlin in 2024 (SBS-5), which featured 31 talks, 90 posters, 10 exhibitors, and 330 participants from academia and industry, SBS-7 will once again offer a vibrant three-day programme. The conference will include over 25 presentations by renowned speakers covering the following topics:

Electrodes and liquid electrolytes for sodium-ion batteries

Electrodes and electrolytes for sodium solid-state batteries

Intermediate- and high-temperature sodium batteries

Pathways toward commercialisation

We look forward to welcoming you to Berlin for three inspiring days of scientific exchange, networking, and enjoyable discussions.

Let’s make SBS-7 another memorable milestone for the sodium battery community!

Philipp Adelhelm and Gustav Graeber
Local organisers of SBS-7
