WiNS Adlershof (Women in Natural Sciences)
Impulse lecture & discussion with Eva Gottwalles (Scienza)
In this online talk, we’ll take a closer look at how care responsibilities impact academic careers. We’ll explore discriminatory structures on individual, institutional, and societal levels, and examine how gender, care work, and social inequality are interconnected in science and beyond. Together, we’ll discuss the effects of structural disadvantage and identify practical ways to address these challenges within the academic context. After the talk, participants are invited to share their own experiences and ideas in an open discussion.
